FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Straight answers for international clients and partners.
Yes. Garden Events designs and manufactures its living walls in its own workshop in Mayenne, France, and its own team installs them. For projects abroad, the same team handles design, manufacturing, shipping coordination and installation. Day-to-day maintenance can be handled by a local company trained by Garden Events.
Garden Events is a French manufacturer of plant-based solutions: natural living walls, stabilized (preserved) plant walls, outdoor green walls, connected walls with automated irrigation, living furniture and green roofs. It works only with real plants and does not make artificial walls.
Depending on the project, maintenance is carried out by a local maintenance company that Garden Events trains, or by Garden Events with remote support. Stabilized walls need very little upkeep, which makes them a practical option far from France.
Yes. Each wall is designed from the architect's or client's brief: dimensions, light, indoor or outdoor exposure, plant palette, integration with the interior design. Garden Events works from plans, photos and video calls before any commitment.
A stabilized plant wall is usually the most practical choice abroad: it uses preserved plants, needs very little upkeep and has no irrigation. Natural living walls are possible where a local maintenance partner can look after them.
Live plants are subject to national and international plant-health rules, which vary by destination. Garden Events checks the rules for each destination and may recommend a stabilized solution or local plant sourcing.
Requirements differ from country to country. Garden Events reviews the applicable local rules with the architect or client for each project before any commitment.
A natural living wall uses live plants and an irrigation system. A stabilized wall uses real plants that have been preserved: no watering, no light requirement and very little maintenance. See our guide: natural or stabilized living wall (in French).
